Becca Carter Freeman is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in the Brooklyn, NY. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, raised in Seoul, South Korea, and living out of a suitcase ever since - Becca refuses to answer the question “where are you from?” Due to her transient lifestyle and this unanswered question, most of Becca’s work surrounds itself with themes of home and lack thereof.

She is a recent graduate of Boston University receiving her B.F.A. in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Playwriting and relevant coursework in Film, Journalism, Advertising, and Law. She is also an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy and the Atlantic Acting School. Recently her play, Where Do Peaches Grow? was the recipient of the Kennedy Center’s National Undergraduate Playwriting Award.

She is a member of the Dramatist’s Guild and is affiliated with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC). Becca is represented by Engage Artists Agency (EAA).

When she is not working, Becca is boxing, bartending, and bouncing around in her blue car.
