Where Do Peaches Grow? is about where we call home. Where do we find comfort in the ones we love, our bodies, and in our physical surroundings? The play follows Vega, a sixteen-year-old girl who returns back to her “hometown” for her sixteenth summer in a row after living in Seoul, South Korea for the majority of her life. Throughout the piece, we follow her as she struggles to identify with the people, places, and daily life she’s supposed to know so well.
